Arsalan approaches NADRA to seek Imran’s credentials
Online

ISLAMABAD: Arsalan Iftikhar, a son of former chief justice of Pakistan Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, has filed an application with the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) seeking Imran Khan’s biodata.
Adamant to get Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman disqualified in a recent development Tuesday, Arsalan Iftikhar filed an application with NADRA, seeking Imran’s biodata. He says Imran’s information is required for filing a reference against him. Reports said the reference will be filed with the National Assembly speaker on the grounds that he did not fulfil requirements of articles 62 and 63 of the constitution in connection with contesting the general elections.
The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has issued a copy of Imran’s nomination papers to Arsalan, who claims that the PTI chief has concealed some facts in the nomination papers. “Imran Khan did mention having two sons but did not disclose the fact of having a daughter. He is neither sadiq (honest) nor ameen (upright),” Arsalan Iftikhar had alleged previously.
