James Dobbins calls on Army Chief, Interior Minister
RAWALPINDI: US Special Representative for Pakistan and Afghanistan James Dobbins called on Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif and Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar here on Monday separately.
According to ISPR, Dobbins and Gen Sharif discussed matters of mutual interest during the meeting. The post-election situation in Afghanistan also came under discussion.
James Dobbins also had a separate meeting with Interior Minister Ch Nisar and had an exchange of views on the overall security situation of the region. Nisar said a peaceful Afghanistan is important for regional security.
