Imran inaugurates power project in KP

PESHAWAR: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan said on Saturday Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has started 357 small power projects, and he intends to produce electricity instead of making money through projects.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony of a wind power project in Temar Gara, Khan said he didn’t want to make money like it was done through rental power projects during the stint of last government.

He criticized the government’s policy of power generation through furnace oil.

The PTI chairman said load shedding started in Musharraf and PPP era but unfortunately no system was put in place to cope with the situation.
