Imran Farooq case Visiting Pak team shares information with Scotland Yard

ISLAMABAD: In a latest key development, a special team of the Ministry of Interior probing the Imran Farooq murder case has met the Scotland Yard’s delegate in London during which important information and developments on the case were exchanged. The Pakistani team led by Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Islamabad Sajid Kayani held a special meeting with the Scotland Yard authorities and handed over evidence to them and also provided vital information regarding the detained suspects in Pakistan. According to reports, the Pakistani team also shared crucial evidence with the British authorities regarding the money laundering case against Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain who has to appear before the court in the second week of the ongoing month. Sources also revealed that the both sides also discussed about the exchange of suspects. Meanwhile, SSP Sajid attended a function in Walthom Forest in which he was presented with a memorial shield.
