Major parts of Karachi plunge into darkness
KARACHI: Several parts of Karachi plunged into darkness due to major power breakdown at Bin Qasim plant of the K-Electric.
According to details, Old City Area, Kemari Lyari, Guslistan-e-Johar Gulshan-e-Hadeed, Gulshan-e-Jamal, Dalmia, Akhtar Colony, Defence, and other areas are without electricity.
Meanwhile, K-Electric Spokesman Usama Qureshi claimed that there is no complete blackout in the city. He said half of the grid stations of the city are affected due to breakdown at Unit 2 of Bin Qasim Power Plant.Courtesy www.thenews.com.pk
