ISLAMABAD – Adviser on National Security and Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz on Tuesday said that Pakistan was always in favour of resolving Iran’s nuclear issue through dialogue.

In a TV interview, he said that this agreement would lead to economic growth along with an increase in trade between Pakistan and Iran. He also welcomed the important comprehensive nuclear agreement reached between Iran and the world powers.

“When sanctions are removed, implementation of the Iran-Pakistan pipeline project will begin soon,” the adviser said. “Trade between the two countries will also increase,” he said. This deal could also signal in a new beginning between Iran and Arab countries, he said.

“When Iran is integrated in the regional and global economy it will lead to peace and Islamic unity,” he added.
