NewsJudge refuses to grant 'undue lenience' to Ayyan
LAHORE: Though bail bonds of Ayyan Ali have been approved, the supermodel will have to spend one more night in the detention facility.
According to reports, the lawyers got the bail bonds approved from the session judge at his residence after working hours and flew them to Rawalpindi.
However, civil judge Muhammad Naeem in Rawalpindi refused to issue release order, saying the Lahore High Court order must be implemented in its true spirit.
He said nobody could be granted undue lenience, directing lawyers to approach trial court or a duty judge to get the bail on Thursday.
