Reham believes ‘attack from a select lobby’ over her credentials
TV host says few people have agenda, media promoting their senseless propaganda

LAHORE – Reham Khan – TV host and wife of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf Chairman Imran Khan – has said that a select lobby will “attack you if you try to address real pertinent issues in Pakistan.”

“A few people have an agenda and media is promoting their senseless propaganda,” Rehman reacted in her morning tweets. The Daily Mail newspaper reported that questions were starting to be asked about the CV of TV journalist Reham.

According to Reham’s personal website, she won her post as a reporter on a BBC regional show after starting a postgraduate course in Broadcast Journalism from the Lincolnshire-based North Lindsay College.

Quoting officials of the college, the paper reported that the North Lindsay College has never offered a postgraduate course in Broadcast Journalism. “Indeed, it (the college) does not teach journalism at all. Furthermore, they can find no record of anyone bearing (Reham) Khan’s name or age ever having enrolled,” the paper reported.

“If you try to address real pertinent issues in Pakistan, a select lobby will attack you. It comes with the domain. Does not, will not deter me,” she tweeted. “This morning is a great example of why I have never picked up the Daily Mail and why I don't watch Pakistani TV channels,” she reacted after TV channels and social media started debate on the issue.

“Hats off to Capital TV news who have always maintained their credibility and professional standards,” she also tweeted.
