Rangers DG briefed on ceasefire violations by India
Maj General Umer Farooq visits Working Boundary


LAHORE – Punjab Rangers Director General Major General Umer Farooq visited the Working Boundary on the first day of Eid ul Fitr, a private TV channel reported on Saturday.

During his visit, the Rangers chief was briefed on the recent ceasefire violations by India. On Friday, the Pakistan Army has lodged a protest with the UN observers over the Indian ceasefire violations.

In his Eid message on social media, ISPR director general Major General Asim Saleem Bajwa tweeted that terrorism would be defeated and Pakistan was bound to rise. He said that there were visible signs of security improving.

The military spokesperson said that the fight against terrorism would continue until the mission was completed.
