Imran Khan furious over fake news of third marriage

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Wednesday slammed media outlets for spreading news about his third marriage and sharing pictures of women he ‘has never met’.“Unethical of media to spread false news of my marriage based upon absolute lies. Had that happened in UK, heads would have rolled,” he said on Twitter.
“The woman’s pictures shown, I neither know nor ever met. Such disinformation is irresponsible and shows a collapse of moral and ethical standards,” Khan further said.
A day earlier, the cricketer-turned-politician decided to move Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) against some TV channels for telecasting the wrong report.
Hours after some sections of media reported that Imran Khan has tied the knot for the third time, he turned to social media (Twitter), to refute the reports, saying whenever he would get married, he would announce and celebrate it publicly.
