Shehzad’s murder may be personal enimity: Malik
ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik said that journalist Salim Shehzad’s murder could be a case of personal enimity, Geo News reported.Malik visited Salim Shehzad’s residence to condole with the family and condemned his murder.
Later while talking to the media, Rehman Malik said that arrangements have been made to send Shehzad’s body to Karachi. He told that his family is not satisfied with the autopsy report and have demanded to conduct second autopsy. Though another autopsy is not possible, he said that a medical board can be formed to carry out investigations.
He said that journalists in our country are also battling against negative forces like the army.In order to ensure life safety, Malik said that orders have been passed to allow journalists to carry small arms with them for self-protection.
