Sindh CM declares NEC meeting unconstitutional

KARACHI: Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah said that National Economic Council meeting had no constitutional importance.

While briefing the media on Wednesday at Chief Minister House he said that he asked Finance Minister Ishaq Dar to attend the meeting but he replied inattentively and asked if he could call him to discuss the issues.

The federal government had been making fun out of Sindh government as water schemes in Karachi had also been abolished for no reason, Syed Qaim Ali added.

In terms of NFC award, he also demanded allotment of development funds. On this occasion, Provincial Finance Minister Murad Ali Shah said that Sindh had experienced severe injustices for three years.

He said that now we will fight the Sindh case in National Assembly.
