PTI demands IB DG to tender resignation

RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has demanded off Director General (DG) of Intelligence Bureau (IB) on Monday to tender his resignation for alleged hindrance in Panamagate probe by joint investigation team (JIT).

Spokesperson for the political party, Fawad Khan has said that probe against the first family of Pakistan is being hindered through state institutions. He further accused that record pertinent for the probe of assets against Sharif family is being tempered with. The political party has demanded off the chief of IB to tender his resignation.

Earlier today, Supreme Court of Pakistan (SCP) remarked that authorities at the IB have confessed to gathering data pertaining to officials of the probe team.
