Nawaz assures Yasin Malik of full support to Kashmir causeLAHORE: Chairman Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF), Yaseen Malik called on President of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawz (PML-N) Mian Muhamaad Nawaz Sharif here on Friday, Geo News reported.
According to details, Yaseem Malik informed Nawaz Sharif about the unrest the Indian Held Kashmir was plunged in after the hanging of Afzal Guru in India’s Tihar Jail.
Yasin also brought up the issue of rampant Indian brutalities in the occupied Kashmir during the meeting.
Endorsing the cause of Kashmir, PML-N leader speaking on the occasion, assured him of Pakistan’s full support for the people of Kashmir.
“We want Kashmir issue resolved according to United Nations (UN) resolutions that too without further delay. We also condemn as well as demand an immediate end to persecution, the Kashmiris were being subjected to since long”, said Nawaz Sharif.
He said his government was that close to resolving Kashmir issue back in the day, but General (Retd) Pervez Musharraf’s takeover sent all our efforts down the drain. Kashmir issue is the biggest hurdle between fair relationship between Pakistan and India, Nawaz Sharif added.
On the occasion, Yaseem Malik offered his condolences on the demise of Nawaz Sharif’s brother Abbas Sharif.
