Public prosecutor Abdul Mahroof replaced from Shahzeb case
KARACHI: The Sindh government has replaced public prosecutor Abdul Mahroof for raising objection over the inclusion of anti-terror sections in the charge-sheet in Shahzeb Khan murder case.
Shahid Arian will now serve as the special public prosecutor in the Shahzeb murder case which is being heard in the ATC court of Judge Ghullam Mustafa Memon. Mahroof will continue to hear other pending cases.
Mahroof had objected to the anti-terrorism section in the charge sheet and requested that the case be transferred from the ATC to a sessions court.
