PM appreciates PAF role in Zarb-e-Azb operation

ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has appreciated the role being played by PAF in Operation Zarb-e-Azb and said that the government is committed to eradicating the menace of terrorism and extremism from Pakistan.
The prime minister was talking to Air Chief, Air Chief Marshal Tahir Rafique Butt who called on him here on Tuesday. He said that the government is providing funds for the capacity building of PAF, which is playing a vital role in operation against terrorists. Latest high-tech inductions in PAF would further enhance the capabilities of defense forces, he said.
Professional matters relating to Pakistan Air Force (PAF) came under discussion during the meeting. The Air Chief thanked the prime minister for taking personal interest in matters related to future development of PAF.
