PML-N govt safeguarding basic rights of masses: Asif

SIALKOT – Minister for Defence Water and Power Khawaja Asif said on Saturday that the Pakistan Muslim League-N government was safeguarding the basic rights of the masses and honouring its political commitments to raise the living standard of the people.

Addressing a public meeting at village Maraakiwal-Sialkot near here, after inaugurating a newly established regional passport office, he said the PML-N government was coming up to the expectations of people and was struggling to trickle down the benefits of effective and positive economical polices of the government to the common man.

He said that the imported gas would reach Pakistan at the end of this month, adding that power crisis would be controlled till the end of 2017. Asif narrated that effective and positive policies of the incumbent government were bringing economical and political stability in Pakistan.

Earlier, Asif and MNA Ch Armughan Subhani inaugurated the projects of construction of Sialkot-Gondal Road, dual carriage way, Pulli Topkhana-Kharotta Syedan Road, soling of tough tiles on Lorry Adda-Bhagal Road, here. Local MNA Ch. Armughan Subhani , MPAs Ch. Tariq Akhtar Subhani, Ch Muhammad Ikram, MLA Ch Muhammad Ishaq , PML-N leaders Rana Arif Iqbal Harnah, Malik Latif Asghar and Malik Asif Ali were also present on the occasion.
