Imran’s dream to conquer Karachi will never come true: Sattar

KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Dr. Farooq Sattar on Wednesday said the people of Karachi will defeat Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan and his dream to conquer the port city will never come true.

Responding to Imran Khan’s speech in Mirpur Azad Kashmir, the MQM leader said Imran has been suffering from ‘Altaf Hussain-phobia’, adding the PTI chief insulted the participants of MQM public rallies by calling them ‘living corpses’.

“PTI is a political wing of Taliban and wants to enforce the system of Lal Masjid across the country”, Sattar alleged.

Meanwhile, MQM’s coordination committee, in a statement, condemned what it said Imran Khan’s threatening statement against Altaf Hussain and alleged that the PTI chief was dreaming to conquer Karachi with crutches of establishment.

It is pertinent to note here that Imran Khan during his speech in Mirpur, Azad Kashmir severely criticised the MQM and its leader Altaf Hussain and said his party was going to hold a public rally in Karachi to defeat the MQM chief.
