Karachi operation against criminals’ not political parties: CM Sindh
KARACHI: Chief Minister Sindh Qaim Ali Shah on Thursday said the operation in the city was against criminal elements not political parties.
The chief minister’s statement echoed that of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif who on his visit to Karachi on Wednesday also emphasised that the operation was aimed at criminals and not any political party.
Chief Minister Shah added that the operation in Karachi was being carried out with the support of the federal government. He added that funds from the development budget of the province had been taken and distributed to the police which had led to positive results in the operation.Courtesy www.thenews.com.pk
