Qadri's death anniversary: Interior ministry clarifies report
ISLAMABAD: Responding to a news item appearing in a section of press regarding barring of rallies on death anniversary of Mumtaz Qadri, a spokesperson for the Interior Ministry has clarified that the government had not banned any such rally rather alternate routes were provided to the commemorators in view of security requirements especially in wake of ECO Summit being held in the capital city, said a press release Wednesday.The spokesperson said that the administration did not interfere in any manner into this issue and it appreciated the cooperation extended to the administration by the Qadri family.
