Bahria Town flyover, underpass inaugurated in Karachi

KARACHI: A 70-yeal-old employee of Bahria Town inaugurated underpass and flyover project, in front of Abdullah Shah Gazi shrine, in the Clifton area of the metropolis on Friday.

Ghulam Jilani, a carpenter at Bahria Town, inaugurated the project in the presence of Chairman Malik Riaz. Administrator Karachi Shoaib Siddiqui was also present on the occasion.

The flyover project is constructed by Bahria Town with the cost of Rs1.5 billion for smooth flow of traffic in the area.

Speaking on the occasion, Malik Riaz vowed to take up such kind of projects in other cities of the country as well.

Malik Riaz also urged businessmen to invest in Pakistan instead of leaving the country. He said, “Pakistan can become a country like America and Europe within a period of two years.”

Bahria Town Chairman thanked former city nazim Mustafa Kamal for his assistance in the work of this project.

On the occasion, announcement was made to send Ghulam Jilani and his family to Saudi Arabia for performing Umrah.
