Commander-in-Chief Myanmar calls on PM, CJCSC

ISLAMABAD/RAWALPINDI: Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Myanmar Senior General Min Aung Hlaing called on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in Islamabad on Thursday.

Talking to him, the Prime Minister said that Pakistan and Myanmar enjoy close bilateral ties which Pakistan wishes to strengthen in the time to come.

General Min Aung Hlaing also called on Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Rashad Mahmood in Rawalpindi.

They discussed matters related to professional interest and mutual cooperation between the two Armed Forces.

General Min Aung appreciated the professionalism and sacrifices rendered by the Armed Forces of Pakistan in the fight against terrorism.
