Nawaz Sharif meets Zardari
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has met with Pakistan People’s Party co-chairman and former President Asif Ali Zardari to discuss prevailing political and law and order situation emerging after the deadly militant attack on Isamaili community’s bus that killed over 40 people Wednesday.
Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, Sindh Finance Minister Murad Ali Shah and Senator Mandi Wala were also present during the meeting.
The prime minister met with the former president after chairing a high level meeting attended by country’s top military commanders and the representatives of federal and the Sindh government at the Governor House.
The Apex Committee meeting reviewed ongoing operation in Karachi and decided to” increase its tempo” to quell terrorism.
