Sharjeel Memon dismisses reports of house being raided
KARACHI: Sindh Information Minister and PPP leader Sharjeel Memon on Friday dismissed media reports that a raid had taken place at his residence.
The minister categorically denied that any raid at his residence had taken place.
Speaking to Geo News, Memon said he would take action againt the TV channel which aired the story without verifying it. “We have tried to remain friendly with the media but I will take action against the media house which aired this story without verifying it.”
According to Memon yesterday (Thursday) a newspaper had printed a similar story and today (Friday) a retraction was printed.
“It is not correct to run such baseless stories on personal agendas,” Memon said.
