Rangers’ chief discusses Karachi operation with Sindh governor

‘Foreign investment certain in improved law, order situation’

KARACHI – Sindh Rangers Director General Major General Bilal Akbar called on Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan here at the Governor’s House on Saturday.

The overall law and order situation in the province and the on-going Karachi operation was discussed in detail on the occasion.

The governor said that the Rangers and other law enforcement agencies rendered great sacrifices for the betterment of law and order situation in the province.

It is an undeniable fact that owing to the on-going operation, the law and order situation is improving, Dr Ebad said.

It was resolved that the operation would continue till the elimination of the menace of terrorism and all the legal requirements, as well as those of justice would be fulfilled.

The governor also stated that in an improved law and order situation, foreign investment is certain in the city as well as the country. This will help bring prosperity and create employment opportunities, he added.

Dr Ebad appreciated the performance of the law enforcement agencies. He also appreciated public’s cooperation in this regard.
