‘Urdu be introduced in judicial, legal system’

CJ says constitution has all details regarding human rights

KARACHI – Chief Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali has said that we would have to see that our national language Urdu is introduced in our judicial and legal system.

Jamali was addressing a seminar on judicial education here. Judicial profession demands that there should be command on the legal language so that one's point of view is expressed in much better way, he said.

He stressed the need for enhancing the academic standards so that the country could make the required headway. He also hoped that full benefit would be taken from judicial education.

Emphasising the importance of the supremacy of law, the chief justice said that the Constitution of Pakistan carried with it all the details regarding basic human rights.
