Supremacy of law brings betterment in society: CJP Jamali

KARACHI: Chief Justice of Pakistan Anwer Zaheer Jamali has said that the supremacy of law contributes towards the betterment in the society.

Speaking at a seminar on judicial education here on Saturday the Chief Justice called for continued steps for enhancing the academic standards so that the country could make the required headway.

He also hoped that full benefit would be taken from the judicial education.

Justice Jamali also called for long term planning for improvements in our judicial system.

He said that we would have to see that our national language Urdu is introduced in our judicial and legal system.

The Chief Justice said that the judicial profession demands that there should be command on the legal language so that one’s point of view is expressed in much better way.

He also stated that the constitution of Pakistan carries all the details regarding basic human rights.

The Chief Justice of Sindh High Court, Justice Sajjad Ali Shah said that the provincial government has given land for the Sindh Judicial Academy.

He further stated that this Academy would be in accordance with the international standards.

On the occasion, Justice Sajjad Ali Shah shed light on the significance of the judicial education.
