Those raising voice for Karachiites being murdered mercilessly: Bilawal

KARACHI, May 08 (NNI): Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Chairman of Pakistan People’s Party, Sunday took serious notice of the brutal murder of rights activist Khurram Zaki in North Karachi and urged the authorities to ferret out the culprit and bring them to book at the earliest.

Condemning the murder of Khurram Zaki, PPP Chairman paid tributes to the slain activist, who he said, always stood against injustices and atrocities against the innocent people in the country.

Bilawal expressed sympathy with the family of Zaki and assured them that the killers won’t be spared and they cannot go scot-free under any circumstances.

The PPP chairman stated that the individuals raising their voice for the people of Karachi are being killed mercilessly.

Last night, four suspects riding on two motorcycles opened fire on Zaki at a tea shop located in Sector-11B of North Karachi. The activist was killed, and two others journalist Rao Khalid and bystander Aslam were critically wounded in the attack.
