727,201 Pakistani workers proceeds to Middle East countries during 2015-16

ISLAMABAD: A total of 727,201 Pakistani workers proceeded to the Middle East countries during the year 2015-16 so far (July-March) for employment purposes.
An official of Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development said that the demand received from the Middle East countries for this year was of 650,815. While 814,703 Pakistani workers proceeded to Middle East countries during the year 2014-15 against the demand of 547,006, the official added.
