Interior ministry’s notification on Dawn Leak to issued within couple of days: Marriyum
KARACHI: A notification on Dawn Leaks inquiry report will be issued by the Ministry of Interior in a day or two, said state minister for information and broadcasting.Marriyum Aurangzeb said politics was being done on Dawn Leaks.
Speaking at a press conference here on Sunday, the state minister said it was premature to say anything before the issuance of the notification, which will remove all concerns once released.
The notification would be detailed, determining role of each and every person in the Dawn Leaks, she said.
Earlier, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Saturday met Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and discussed the inquiry report of Dawn Leaks and government notification issued in this regard, sources said.
Sources said the two figures discussed the inquiry report and the notification issued by the government on recommendations by the inquiry committee formed to probe the leaks.
The meeting also discussed orders issued by PM's secretary in this regard.
