No compromise on national security: Asif says Pakistan’s stance on Jadhav clear

ISLAMABAD: Defence Minister Khawaja Asif said on Thursday that Pakistan's security is supreme as no compromise would be made on it.

Commenting on ICJ's order, he said it is not a matter of victory or defeat, adding that Pakistan’s stance on the RAW agent was very clear.

He further said Indian spy Kulbhushan Jadhav was convicted after fulfilling all necessary legal procedures and any decision in this connection will be taken keeping in view the national interest.

It is a matter of national security and we will not compromise on it, he added.

ICJ has only granted stay on the death sentence of Jadhav. Provisions of case are still to be debated in the court, he maintained.
