Lawyers observing black day against NATO attack
LAHORE: Lawyers across the country are observing black day against NATO attacks on the call of Pakistan Bar Council, Geo News reported.Pakistan Bar Council Vice Chairman, Latif Khan Afridi had given a call to observe black day against NATO helicopters’ firings in Mohamand agency, while the lawyers of all bar associations and bar councils responding to the call observed black day by hoisting black flags, holding protest meetings and rallies.
Islamabad High Court Bar Association besides Rawalpindi District Courts and High Court Bar are observing complete strike and lawyers not appearing in the courts for hearing of the cases.
Faisalabad, Sargodha, Bhawalnagar, Bhawalpur, Chichawatni, Jhelum, Larkana, Nowshera, Swat and Karak District Bar Associations also boycotted the courts agitating against the unwarranted NATO attacks.
