PESHAWAR - Jamaat-e-Islami chief Sirajul Haq has asked all political parties to resolve their issues through negotiation and reconciliation.

Addressing a news conference here on Sunday, he said that political instability weakens the foundations of Pakistan. He threw light on the political situation in Pakistan and said that dictators ruled over Pakistan for 35 years. He said that we succeeded to save Pakistan from martial law and convinced Pakistan Awami Tehreek, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf and government to settle their issues through negotiations.

Siraj also appealed people to remain peaceful and respect sanctity of Muharramul-Haram. He strongly criticized Bangladesh government for death sentences to Jamaat leadership and termed it brutal state terrorism. He asked the international community and Pakistan government to exert pressure on Bangladesh government in this regard.

He informed that a big public gathering will be held on 21st November at Minar-e-Pakistan. A decisive move will be launched from there to make Pakistan a welfare Islamic state. Siraj hoped that people from across Pakistan will participate in the gathering, preparations for which are underway.
