PESHAWAR: Awami National Party (ANP) chief, Asfandyar Wali Khan was critical of the performance of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) provincial government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during his address at the workers convention here on Friday.

Wali in reference to PTI leaders asked that officials from the provincial government were dancing all night long at the sit-in, so how could they work in the morning. “The change in naya Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is that the province’s chief minister dances atop a container.”
The ANP chief said PTI chairman Imran Khan had claimed they (PTI) would leave the provincial government if 10,000 people were gathered in Peshawar. “There are over 10,000 people here today but we will not let captain run.”

Wali further said they did not want Imran Khan to become a martyr. “You should fulfill promises made to people and your mandate.”
