Russian ambassador calls on Punjab CM
Shahbaz says both countries should move forward by enhancing their cooperation in economic, trade, and other sectors
INPLAHORE - Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that the government is taking solid and practical measures to resolve energy crisis.
He said this while talking to Russian Ambassador Alexey Yurievich Dedov, who called on him in Lahore on Tuesday. Matters pertaining to mutual interest and promotion of cooperation in various sectors came under discussion during the meeting. The chief minister underlined the need for further boosting economic and trade relations.
He said that both the countries should move forward by enhancing their cooperation in economic, trade, and other sectors. He said that the Russian collaboration would be welcomed in the energy sector and extraction of coal in Punjab. Speaking on the occasion, Dedov said that Russia is keen to boost its trade relations with Pakistan.
