KP to move SC against ‘injustices’ by Centre
*Imran says federal government is conspiring to ‘fail’ PTI govt in KP

PESHAWAR: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Tuesday alleged that the federation is trying to “fail” the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, and that he will take the matter to the Supreme Court.
Speaking to the media after attending the health reforms session, Imran Khan alleged that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is not being given its due share in water. He alleged that the federal government is not cooperating with the provincial government on the matter of internally displaced persons (IDPs). The PTI chairman said the KP government is bearing the burden of 3 million IDPs but the federation is not cooperating at all. He said the province is not being given any royalty in terms of electricity, water and gas.
Responding to the Awami National Party’s (ANP) allegations, Imran Khan said that the ANP should wait for three years, adding that everyone knows the amount of corruption that happened during the ANP’s tenure. He said the KP government has formed an independent accountability commission that will act against the accused without any discrimination. Imran Khan said that providing healthcare facility to the people of the province is PTI’s priority and that the provincial government will address reservations of the doctors and healthcare professionals.
He said hospitals would not be built in the province for the purpose of making profit. Then local administration, he added, would be responsible for appointment of the hospital staffers. “Currently, our provincial government is facing an issue of five hundred thousand patients,” the PTI chairman said. He further stated that his government has decided to recruit IDPs in the police force. “We have written a letter to federation for the recruitment of police,” he said.
Imran Khan claimed Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and former president Asif Ali Zardari held a secret meeting in London to discuss the party’s upcoming rally on November 30 in Islamabad. “Nawaz Sharif and Asif Ali Zardari met in Churchill Hotel recently as they were scared of our November 30 sit-in. This is a real London plan,” the PTI chief said.
