General elections will be held in 2018: PM Nawaz
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said the incumbent government will give a prosperous Pakistan to the people in 2018 which will be the time when people will be able to judge each party on the basis of its performance.
In a statement here, the Premier said that the general elections will be held in 2018 and the people will vote in or out any government through the power of their vote.
He said all the political forces have their interests linked to the democratic system. “It is imperative upon all of us to be loyal to the constitution, as there is no other option but to follow the constitutional path,” he added.
The Prime Ministers there is no system that is free of shortcomings but the constitution and parliament present a sole remedy that can rid the existing system of weaknesses.
