Govt can end corruption in just one week: Sirajul Haq
LAHORE: Amir Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), Sirajul Haq on Tuesday said the government can root out corruption from the country in a matter of just one week if it so intends.
Addressing a public meeting here, Sirajul Haq said the only way to block the door to corruption is by showing no regard to the people’s rank or position.
He said those who put the nation in the shackles of International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank are in no way well wishers of the country.
The JI Amir said after coming into power his party would hold the plunderers of the nation’s wealth to account for every single penny.
He appealed to the people to support JI if they want to get rid of price hikes, unemployment and poverty.
