NewsLG polls: Imran Khan says our contest is with SHOs, Patwaris
MIANWALI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman, Imran Khan Sunday said in Sindh and Punjab his party’s actual contest is going to be with Station House Officers (SHOs) and Patwaris in the upcoming Local Government elections.
In his address to PTI's public meeting here, Imran Khan said his message for his party’s activists is that they must not be overcome by fear from any side.
“You have to play your match like a captain who doesn’t give up and continues to fight till the last bowl,” the PTI Chairman exhorted.
He said in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa the police had even put manacles in the wrists of a serving minister in the local government elections in KP.
He invited everyone to come to KP and witness how the provincial police department was performing.
Imran Khan said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif does not care for the small farmers but after coming to power ‘our party will wage Jihad against poverty’.
The PTI chief also vowed to undertake reforms at public hospitals.
