Relief operation underway in quake-hit areas: NDMA
APPISLAMABAD: National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has said that relief operation in earthquake-hit areas are underway to provide all necessary facilities. Talking to Radio Pakistan, NDMA Spokesperson Ahmed Kamal has said five helicopters are continuously providing relief assistance and 27 relief distribution points were also established. He said that in the affected areas, all health facilities are functional and providing emergency health assistance while armed forces have provided four medical teams. He said verification process of the earthquake victims is in progress and NDMA teams are present in Malakand Division to oversee relief operation.
