Imran says LG polls to be held in KP next month
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan has said that local bodies’ elections will be conducted in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in November.
Addressing the participants of the sit-in on late Tuesday night, he said,“We were ready for elections in April too but Supreme Court of Pakistan said the polls be held in all provinces in November after the Punjab and Sindh filed applications relating to delimitations of constituencies.”
He said the local bodies elections were not held due to the Supreme Court orders.
