PM felicitates Chinese counterpart on national day

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has felicitated his Chinese counterpart, Li Keqiang, on the 65th anniversary of the Founding of the People’s Republic of China.
In a letter addressed to the Chinese premier, Prime Minister Sharif said that it gave him immense pleasure to extend his heartiest felicitations to his counterpart, the government and the people of China on the auspicious occasion of 65th anniversary of the Founding of the People’s Republic of China.
The prime minister said: “The iron brotherhood of Pakistan and China reflects close cooperation, mutual trust and complete understanding of each other’s interests. Our people stand together in protecting and promoting our shared values of mutual respect and peaceful coexistence.”
“The unprecedented success story of the Pakistan-China friendship has entered a new chapter with the implementation of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.
I am confident that this initiative will take our strategic partnership to towering heights, and bring development, stability and prosperity to our peoples and our region. Our two countries have always stood by each other on regional and international fora and have together contributed toward peace, security and stability within the region and across the world.
