Pak-China naval exercises conclude

ISLAMABAD: The bilateral exercises between Pakistan and Chinese naval forces concluded at the North Arabian Sea on Wednesday.
“The first of the series of bilateral naval exercises provided a good opportunity to both navies to learn from each other’s experiences, enhance interoperability and refine the tactical doctrines.
The exercises, participated by ships, aircraft and Special Forces of the two navies, was divided into harbour and sea phases,” Pakistan Navy said in a statement.
“The hard core sea phase included serials designed to refine warfare, tactics, practicing command and control procedures and combating asymmetric threats,” it added.
Both of the navies, the statement said, enjoyed good relations. Against this backdrop, holding of bilateral naval exercise was being viewed as manifestation of the resolve to further enhance bilateral cooperation between the two navies, it added.
