PESHAWAR – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Member of Provincial Assembly Javed Nasim has announced to stage sit in on main GT Road in Peshawar on Friday next to expose ‘corruption and malpractices’ of the PTI government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Talking to journalists on Friday, he who won election from PK-3 Peshawar said his sit-in will be on the pattern being held by PTI Chairman Imran Khan in Islamabad and continue till elimination of corruption from the province. He said that rampant corruption in the provincial government had forced him to take to street and protest.
The PTI lawmaker said that he had already formed a like-minded group in the assembly with the objective of lodging protest against corruption by the provincial ministers. He said that he had handed over files to the PTI chairman who contained proofs of corruption by six provincial ministers, but he did not pay any heed to the complaint.
