PTI issues show-cause notice to MPA Javed Naseem

PESHAWAR: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has issued a show cause notice to MPA Javed Naseem after he expressed reservations with the party.

During a news conference Saturday, Naseem had announced that after Eid-ul-Azha he would hold a protest against Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervaiz Khattak.

The disgruntled MPA along with his supporters protested against the KP chief minister and during the news conference chanted ‘Go Khattak Go’ slogans.

Naseem accused Pervaiz Khattak of neglecting Peshawar, announcing that the next chief minister will be from the provincial capital. Javed Naseem further said there was no status for poor members in the PTI which he called a party of the rich. He called on the people to not vote for any poor PTI worker in the future.

Javed Naseem announced he would hold a protest on October 15 and reveal the corruption taking place in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The MPA had earlier claimed that Imran Khan had protected dishonest and corrupt members of his government in KP. Naseem has also accused Khan of tolerating corruption.
