PTI serves notice on KP MPA for holding ‘media trial’ of party
* Javed Naseem stages sit-in in front of Peshawar Press Club * Accuses KP CM of corruption, diverting funds to his constituency

PESHAWAR: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa served on Saturday a show-cause notice on lawmaker Javed Naseem for “violating party discipline” and “conducting media trial” of party leaders.
KP PTI President Azam Swati served the notice. Swati said that Naseem had violated the party discipline by making the party issues public. “Any allegations against the party’s provincial lawmakers must have been brought to the notice of (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan instead of speaking about it in the media,” the notice read. Naseem is among the PTI MPAs who “have resentment against the party leadership for not considering them for any ministerial post”.
Naseem accused KP Chief Minister Pervez Khattak of disappointing the people and feared that the province was heading towards destruction.
He said this while staging a protest sit-in in front of the Peshawar Press Club. He accused the CM of using District Peshawar’s fund in his constituency. He said certain people with vested interests were befooling Imran Khan. On the occasion, the demonstrators raised slogans “Go Khattak Go”.
Naseem said he would stage a sit-in on GT Road on 10 October. The MPA said he has prepared a list of Khattak’s alleged corruption and illegal appointments in different departments.
