Pakistan can give a befitting reply to India: Asif
INP

ISLAMABAD - Minister for Defence Khawaja Asif said on Thursday that Pakistan is fully capable of giving a befitting reply to Indian aggression.

In his statement, Asif said "Pakistan doesn't want tension between two nuclear powers." The minister asked India to act responsibly. The death toll of Indian Border Security Force's (BSF) motiveless shelling on Pakistani villages has risen to 13 in the last four days as two others, including a woman, were killed on Thursday morning.

The recent incident took place in Sialkot's Harpal sector. For the last four days, Indian armed forces, in a transgression of the ceasefire agreement, have continuously been resorting to cross-border artillery fire - using light-to-heavy cannons - on Pakistan-controlled territories in Charwa sector along the Line of Control (LoC).
