INP

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Monday said the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government was working with determination for the people’s betterment.
He was talking to members of National Assembly (MNAs) Dr Zulfiqar Ali Bhatti (Sargodha), Rana Zahid Hussain Khan (Pakpattan), Sardar Shafqat Hayat (Sargodha), Khusro Bakhtyar (Rahim Yar Khan) and Umar Ayub Khan (Haripur) who separately called on him in the Parliament House.
The PM referred to the political situation in the country and asked the members to tell the people about the government programmes, including overcoming the energy crisis, revival of economy, job creation and checking price hike. He said the opposition could not divert the government’s attention by holding sit-ins as his party has a massive mandate.
He said they were fully aware of the difficulties faced by the people and assured that with improvement in economy the government would pass on the fruits to the people.
Matters relating to development and provision of clean drinking water in their constituencies also came under discussion during the meeting.
