Breast cancer centres to be established in Sindh districts
KARACHI: The Sindh Assembly on Tuesday passed a resolution for establishing breast cancer diagnosis and treatment centres in every district of the province.
The resolution tabled by PPP MPA Khairunnisa Mughal stated that cases of breast cancer were drastically rising in the province. The late diagnosis of the disease is leading to the death of women in the province.
Mughal said women in the province were unaware of the deadly disease of breast cancer.
Breast Cancer Awareness Month is observed in October and is an annual campaign to increase awareness of the disease.
