PTI says Pakistan has no clear policy on India
Dr Mazari calls four points a rehash of earlier proposals

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) spokesperson MNA Dr Shireen Mazari on Thursday said that once again Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has reneged on his commitment to the nation of exposing India’s role in aiding and abetting terrorism in Pakistan.

She said the prime minister did not have the courage to even use the word India and terrorism when referring to “our immediate neighbour refrain from fomenting instability in Pakistan.” She said that there was a clear difference in the word instability and terrorism.

Dr Mazari also said that the four point proposal termed as new peace initiative that the prime minister presented was nothing new – merely a rehash of earlier proposals. She said that once again the prime minister has betrayed the people of Pakistan and not stated national narrative before the world community on the critical strategic issue of India's involvement in terrorism in Pakistan.

The people of Pakistan were expecting the prime minister to live up to his commitment made repeatedly to the nation that he would raise the issue of India's involvement in terrorism. Sadly, all they got instead was pussy footing around this crucial issue and a rehash of old peace proposals already rejected by India.

Clearly, Dr Mazari asserted that the government and the prime minister seem incapable of asserting Pakistan's legitimate narrative on India and terrorism at the global and bilateral levels. She said that the government has no clear India policy and continues to follow a reactive policy with India.
